Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. Her father is Nigerian Swiss while her mother was English. She grew up on a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age 14. She graduated with a BA in acting from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. In her time at the school, she performed in a variety of stage productions such as the King Henry V's Princess Katherine or Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe first began her career as an actor in the movie Storm Damage. She's appeared as a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she played Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared for six seasons Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008 she landed Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. The actress was on two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe was a part of the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show aired just two episodes on The CW, and was then ended. She was cast in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In late May 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the past two seasons, would be leaving the show after a guest-appearance in the premier episode of the season's new episode. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem on the CW as Tituba. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They collaborated in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for the Gemini Award, hails from an extensive Hamilton family. Her parents, Roy and Patty, as well as her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the summer and winter. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley could not walk but was able to dance. This led to the fact that when she turned 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing shortly after she joined the Baby Ballet. Ashley was a competitive dancer throughout the various categories until the time she graduated from high school. The competitions she participated in included ballet, tap, jazz as well as pointe and the acrobatics. The top soloist at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
